I was so grateful to find a café that made vegan options in Spiegelau. The owner has vegan cheese, vegan salami and lots of avocado and fresh vegetables to create hit toasties, tostados or cold sandwiches and salads. They also have some types of vegetable milk for coffee. I had email before my visit, as I was not sure how popular vegan food was in this small town, but the owner ensured that he had all the vegan options available. I was also happy enough to try the house made vegan curry that was a weekend special.
