I was a guest at Kai 36 last weekend. Basically a very cool, cozy and quiet hotel. The room with a terrace was super nice, but I have to be honest: neither 4 nor the advertised 5 star service, which has to be standard, is given. I don't know whether it was the young demotivating staff or whether the management doesn't know what standard they have to meet for a 5* categorization. Wonderfully located, stylishly and extremely tastefully furnished, almost sensational and very varied rooms, a beautiful café with a great breakfast menu (until 2 p.m.! and a pool garden area with a magnificent view that was our experience at the Kai and hopefully will be at the next one Repeated visit to Graz. The handwritten welcome card (even though we only stayed one night , the proximity to the Schlossberg cable car, the wellness option in the neighboring Schlossberg Hotel, the high quality care products in the rooms, the works of art on display as well as the cleanliness and team friendliness are of course also a must be mentioned :
