My usual Chinese restaurant was closed today so I went to Kai wing. I went once before, the food was a nightmare, but I was craving today so I took a shot. I was hoping that every place might have one bad day, well I was wrong. I have better chances going to a fair, throwing darts and getting the huge stuffie. Again the food was terrible, the ribs were all bone and grizzle. The chicken balls tasted like they were mixed with vegetable stuff because they sure as taxes didn't taste like they were made without sum cross contamination. The egg roll was all roll minus the goods, and the rice I am going to eat because I don't like wasting money but I am praying it is ok. I am sure the fortune cooki...
Worst meal I’ve had in a very long time!! I had the lemon chicken and the chicken was hard as a rock, also had people with who had chicken fried rice with sweet and sour chicken, again chicken was hard as a rock and the rice was rubber and egg roll not even fully cooked… Sushi fang has way better sweet and sour chicken that’s actually REAL! No senior discounts or meal options either. Really need to step up their game for food.
What a great New Year’s Eve experience from you folks at Kai Wing! We called and secured a time slot for pick up, and everything was carefully packed, hot and ready promptly on time. Five of us enjoyed our festive dinner with lots of leftover goodness for the next day. Veggies were colourful and crunchy, fried items were excellent, and perfect spice in the noodles. Thank you Jim and staff for amazing service always.
Kia-Wing is my favorite Chinese restaurant, and has been since I was a child. The owners are great, and I receive wonderful service during every visit. I always really enjoyed the buffet, though that is currently unavailable because of covid. However, they still have dining-in and take-out services. Their menu has a large variety of options for lunch and supper. I would highly recommend dining here.
