KAISERGRANAT! We set it to the level of Rossini AIDA or Richards MS gourmet restaurant with star level! And we mean that as we write it! Thanks to Manuel Hoefel *Koch and co-owner and to Shahin, finally again a waiter who knows what he does the idea of wine, who even knows what he serves!! We still know Manuel as a cook or 2nd cook..... Finally we had managed to come to Him and I had a surprise menu for our 17th two days before. Wedding day ordered.... AND DANN KAM DAS: Beef Tartar with Dijon Senf, red onions, avocado foam, Ricola, confierte tomatoes with honey, pudder sugar, thyme, salt and pepper Manuels Fitello Tonnato, calfsfilet, real tuna sauce, ruccola with sunflower seeds and confier...
Excellent restaurant! We have become aware of the good reviews of the restaurant and were indeed surprised that such a restaurant is located in Damm. We had the 5-course menu with wine recommendation. The food was excellent, tastefully fine tuned and delicious. The wines were perfectly matched to the food and the service was good and competent. Priced of course, but price performance is right. We like to come back and give convinced 5 stars and hope to be able to eat so well here again in Damm.
The second restaurant from Scampi in Aschaffenburg. The concept is similar only that the location of the restaurant from a gastronomic point of view was not chosen very well. The establishment of the restaurant is a bit more pompous. Service is fine. The dishes at the Kaisergranat are very good and, in my opinion, are somewhat more subtle and refined than at the Scampi. Again and again, since the opening of 2018 until the time when Koch Manuel Höfel has unfortunately left the team.
The restaurant is full of length. Priced for Aschaffenburger conditions somewhat higher, but you quickly understand why: quality and quantity of food are worth every cent. I've rarely eaten so well. The service was consistently friendly and each of my countless special requests was taken into account. In the end, I even got a dessert that's not on the map.
