A restaurant must do two things: first it must give you high quality food. Second, it must give you the food in a smooth and timely manner. The food here is... Good enough. The fish is fresh, although it's certainly not the best in the area. The service is... Awful. It took more than 2 hours an hour to receive everything in a restaurant that wasn't even half full. It seems that they prioritize takeout, which is unacceptable in a restaurant with this setup. I should not be able to watch the sushi chef make different rolls in front of me only for all of them to go in a brown bag and shipped outside of a restaurant. The food here is quite good, but the atmosphere is just average—nothing to write home about. The service was a bit challenging, as the waiter seemed to have difficulty understanding what club soda or seltzer is. Initially, he served my friend a Coke, and later just brought her a glass of water. This was my second visit to Kaito; my first was for dinner, and they were busier then, which I think made the food better. During this lunch visit, there weren't many customers. I'm sure I'll return, but next time I'll ensure it's for dinner.
This is definitely the best sushi in Bronxville, without a doubt. It's extremely underrated. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend you do. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere feels truly authentic.
The food is not good at all. The beef teriyaki had no flavor. The rock shrimp tempura was drenched in (I think) French salad dressing. Very odd. The water was nice and cold though.

The fish is fine fresh but overall lacking flair. Drinks are horrible and atmosphere is bad. This place must mostly do take out because it is not operated to encourage dining in.
Easily the best local sushi place. There's only really one other option and that place is terrible. The fish here is fresh and the chefs really know what they're doing.
Best sushi in Bronxville and we’ve been here over 30 times. Millennium roll is my favorite but all the food is great
Place is terrible. It’s overpriced for miniature sashimi and tiny, tasteless rolls. Please don’t waste your money.
