The food was quite good! However, the service left much to be desired. When we entered, a woman at the hostess station was eating and rudely waved us away, telling us to find our own seats. The waiter was similarly impolite—he never brought us water and when we were ready to order, he simply asked if we were ready and stood there as if he were irritated that I had questions about the menu. When our food was delivered, he dropped it on the table and quickly walked away. I had to search for him multiple times to request napkins, water, and utensils, and when he finally brought them, he just handed them over without a word. Kaji offers amazing lunch specials! They have a great variety of options at very reasonable prices. My personal favorites are the two sushi rolls for $11 and three sushi rolls for $14, both of which come with soup and salad. I usually swap out the soup for an extra salad because the dressing is just that delicious, and it’s only a $1 upcharge. I've tried the Philly, Boston, chicken tempura, shrimp tempura, and avocado salmon rolls, and they’ve all been fantastic. Moreover, their drink prices are quite fair. Nice atmosphere, good service, food came timely and as expected. we shared the naruto roll, the crazy thunfish roll, the j K roll and a salmon and avocado roll. it was great! they did a really nice job with everything and the service was prompt. I absolutely love this place! The decor is lovely, the service is excellent, and the sushi is amazing. It's the only restaurant in GC where we'll go for Japanese food. Interestingly, there's a Japanese restaurant right nearby, and another one down the road, but we only choose to come here. It’s definitely worth it!

I ordered a lunch combo that included three sushi rolls, and I was really pleased with the quality – the sushi was fresh and tasty! The price was reasonable at $15, which included the three rolls, a salad, and soup. The soup was excellent as well.

This place has the best sushi and sashimi on Long Island! The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
