On a Sunday lunch I decided to satisfy my desire for Korean food. At 11:30, I found myself at Kaju. After spending a few minutes finding street parking, I came to the facility that had a half occupancy. I got a table and ordered within 5 minutes. Literally the minute after my order, a server plated my bowl of rice and the following 4 side shells mixed greens: in a savory vinaigrette, could notice a larger side salad on a raised sandwich spot sliced picky radishes: Orthodox cauliflower kimichi: not excessively brownish, some Umami potato salad make a creamy egg After about 10 minutes, my main order arrived. This consisted of spicy seafood tofu stew and grilled pigs belly $22.99). The tofu stone had a taste-packed broth and did not bud on the spices. It was also boiling. The grilled pig bell arrived on a hot plate. I wish it was sizzling, it was at least hot. The pig bell itself had little playful or aromas, even before I applied the sesame oil and Aly Dip. Overall, I would rate Kaju rather high for a neighborhood sundubu joint. The public service, reasonable prices or at least what is reasonable in these days), and the decent fate marks this repetition. The only reason I wouldn't give this review 5* is the non-sizzling pig bell hot plate. For some, but I think it's important.

I was probably incapable of Allston in 4 or 5 years. When it first opened, it was the hands down the best place and slowly became worse than the property changed hands. It's really solid! If you enter, you must stand on the front until one of the servers shows a table or releases a table for you. It looks like you could make reservations because we have seen some larger tables with reservations. Like many other Korean restaurants, they play K-pop music in the background. You don't have a parking lot, so be ready to search for street parking. The food was good, although the Galbi was too sweet and the pieces seemed a little small. I ordered the seafood and beef soup on the spice level. It was the perfect heat, not too spicy where I needed a break, but broke a sweat. Wifey has the decreasing tofu soup on the middle spice level. It was spicy enough for them, but for me I thought the broth was too clear and not for me. We arranged combos so that Galbi got combo with the Tofu soup and I got the spicy pig with Tofu soup. The combo is just enough food where you had enough to take home to the left, but not enough to be another meal.

Been here a handful of times and it is definitely a popular spot for a reason. Love it especially in the winter. They have so many varieties of tofu soup and you can tweak the spiciness. The broth is so tastyyyy. Def the best we've had here. I also always get the combo and happily take leftovers home. The meats are nicely flavored and overall, the meal is a decent size for what you get. We also tried the tteokbokki last time we came and that was so good even as left overs. Nicely flavored and good portion. I've been telling my friends about this place and will keep coming back!

If you're in the mood for Tofu, that's the point! You have combos where you can get a small tofu stew protein. Recommend the seafood tofu stew! It was tasteful with good amounts of shrimp and shells. The Boggi was disappointing. It was a bit dry and sweeter than salty. Next time I would try the spicy pig or pig belly. The Kimchi pancake was ugly and delicious! The Banchan options were also delicious. The service was fast. The restaurant feels authentic.
