The hotel and restaurant has very inviting and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay as well as dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I had trout which was delicious and my husband had venison with mushrooms, also delicious. I would recommend this hotel as a great get away to a very small authentic Black Forest village.

Very friendly and cosy atmosphere. Restaurant has local spacialities wild meet and gam as well as fish. Portions are good in size and sufficient with one main. Cake display is very inviting with big variety of sweets to taste. Thank you we enjoyed our visit and will come back.

the restaurant have a beautiful view and well decorated. the service is a little slow but not bad. but the quality of the food comparing to the view, decoration or service was disappotinting. so, the prices are high for this food quality.

Try to reserve a table in the back room. It offers a much nicer atmosphere. The portions of the served food are huge and appropriate after an extensive day walk. Otherwise better order small versions.

We each had a different dessert and all were delicious. Service was great. My mom had pumpkin soup and was very happy. Would consider staying here if our hiking or biking brings us this way again!
