we have moved from maikammer to the kalmit. the distance is about 5 kn uphill. after approx. The route is well signposted and you only have to follow the red/yellow and then the red/white signs.From the hut you have a gigantic view over the valley. At nice days you can sit outside and enjoy the view.On the hut is self service.When we had to arrive at 15:00 clock. the staff was totally overwhelmed with the many visitors. all over there was used crockery. we had to stand for almost 30 minutes until we could order.The prices of the drinks and the food are relatiw high. Conclusion: the hike is worth it, the cottage can only be recommended to a limited extent

when you get to the foot after 1h45 exhausted with ice and fog(at nice weather until the odenwald and northern black forest over the entire Rhine level) in this warm, clean mountain hut, you are happy about every dish and a nice drink. always liked. opening times in winter from mi to So(See website)

the pfälzerwaldverein operates here a hut to which you always come. delicious cakes, homemade meals to very real preisen. beautiful weather you can enjoy all this outside on the terrace with a view of the sea. an absolute must be friends for a mountain forest.

very disappointing. still plenty of personal was to be seen, only one service at the safe. we just wanted to drink, after 20 minutes waiting time we left. the prizes - in the offer sour roast for 14,90 €!! in a pfälzer hiking hut?? a pity, not again. Reserva una mesa ahora

the location of the hut on the summit is unique, one has free standing in the Rhine plain. eating is always delicious, in addition to the card there are changing day offers. the selection of cakes should not be missed ☺️
