I rarely write a review, but in this case it is a need for me, as the Hotel Dünenmeer is really top-class and we enjoyed our four-day stay there. Even the unique location on the beach, not separated by a promenade or by a street, is special. But also the entire flair of the hotel, the really accommodating staff, whether at the reception, in the restaurant or on the wonderful terrace, stand out from most hotels we used so far. We stayed there for 6 nights in the pre-Christmas period. That's why it was pleasantly quiet. Large rooms with sea view or sea view. The location of the hote directly on the beach is hardly surpassed. Breakfast is rich and delicious. Excellent the always crispy fresh breads and egg dishes. Only fresh sausage meat is missing and ham/salami must be cut. Something complicated. The dune sauna is in the wellness area. Even with only a few visitors it would have been nice if the fireplace had been burned daily and the ridges had taken place at 4 pm and 5 pm. But these are small things. Last but not least, the very friendly staff should be mentioned. We like to come back.
We are here for the first time and are very enthusiastic. The service of Mrs. Fokuhl has been,for the first minute,beim check-in, very professional and definitely above average. Mr. Slomski lives the service, like no other and both gave us a wonderful, exceptional stay. All employees I do not mention here are also highly professional and live the service idea. This is rare, recently, in hotel business. The rooms are equipped with very high quality genuine wood furniture. Spa treatment for 175 EUR, 110 min, of which 20 min action of the mask. Free was the relatively aggressive demand to buy skin care products.
