It was very convenient for me eating at Kamome as i didn't have much time to go around and look for other restaurants. Had to stay close to Airport area for business. Anyway, I truly enjoyed my dinners there. Managed to try different kind of dishes and enjoyed all of them (except Hamachi fish, which is not my fav'). All of the fishes for Sushis or main courses were great. On one day, I also picked up a take away and had it in my room as i had work to do. The hospitality by the staff, including the waiters and chefs are really great. They did serve some fresh and natural Japanese juices which tasted great (even though a bit pricey). I highly praise this place, especially if you are staying in the Airport area, and not bother traveling to the center of Geneva for food.
We were so excited to try this Japanese restaurant at the Movempick Hotel near the airport. The welcoming from the manager was bad, cold and no smile given.. We've been waiting for at least 20minutes before someone come to take the drinks order. The manager came, We complained about the wait, a little apologies as a answer.. The food was ok but not exceptional. We did not feel comfortable and welcome in this restaurant. I won't recommend it.
We visited as a family of 4 whilst staying in the hotel and thought the restaurant was excellent. The fresh ingredients were cooked in front of us, portion sizes very generous, food full of flavours and great quality. As expected it is relatively expensive but worth the money in my view. Service was great and quick, would definitely return and recommend.
I went with my son who was craving sushi at Noon. The food was very good, service was excellent and very friendly. The atmosphere is calm and pretty - we especially liked the comfortable cushioned benches - very cozy. Careful about prices - it was very expensive for what we had for lunch - sushi with soup and a small plat of tempura = 160 CHF!
