The spicy tonkotsu ramen here is the best we've found in the Bay Area. The grilled whole squid was straightforward but cooked to perfection. The fried oysters were lightly crunchy with a wonderful briny taste. The chicken gizzard, chicken, and beef skewers were packed with flavor and expertly cooked despite their simple presentation. The service was incredibly warm and friendly, reminiscent of a yakitori spot in Tokyo that a Japanese friend once took me to years ago. Prices were very reasonable as well. Out of more than 20 local Japanese restaurants we've visited in the last six weeks, this one ranks in our top three. We're already planning our next visit.
This is one of those tucked-away places that you often drive by without noticing. The ramen here is fantastic! There is an endless variety of BBQ and fried dishes to choose from. The menu is practically a book, given the wide selection available! They also serve beer and sake. So far, my favorite ramen has been the squid ink ramen, though I haven't tried everything yet! If you're searching for a relaxed, laid-back spot with delicious food, this is the place for you!
This is one our regular ramen spots in the Bay Area. Really love the Black Garlic Ramen and my wife loves the Spicy Beef Ramen. Really good broth, yummy noodles, and you get a full egg. Place is super clean and it's in a shopping complex with lots to do. The only thing annoying is there's a bar across the hall that place loud music which can be annoying if you're dining outside and trying to have a conversation. Overall, A for the Ramen and highly recommended.
Now I eat a lot of Ramen, especially in San Francisco but when I found this little gem nestled inside this tiny mall it hit the spot in San Leandro, In fact, it hit the spot so well that I've never had a slab of beef put on to any Ramen soup. Just look at the pictures and enjoy. I really like this and it is one of my favorite Ramen spots from now on, try the soft shell crab appetizer!

I ordered the Black Garlic Onion Ramen. Decent sized portions of food for the price. Thin noodles, tasted flavourful. Had dim lighting, Ambient elevator type music was playing when I visited. Very outdated looking menus; it looked and felt like a small book with large pages. The photos on the menu and on the outside window did not make the food look appealing, needs updating.
The flavorful broth makes the ramen stand out and the ramens are hearty and pure comfort food. The black garlic oil ramen is my favorite. Their fried tofu and karaage chicken are absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located in the back of the shopping mall and is easily missed. Friendly customer service.
In a busy plaza. The fried soft shell crab was delicious. Had a black garlic ramen...cooked not at all taste garlic. Every else was delicious...had warm sake along with my huge meal. Very affordable...the chicken heart skewers as
Some of the best ramen I've ever tasted! I had the chicken, and my boyfriend chose the beef. We also ordered the deep-fried soft shell crab, which was incredibly delicious. This place is definitely a must-visit!

Every part of the meal was outstanding. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the skewers were excellent, and the squid was the highlight of the dishes.
Food was delicious I had a cold the ramen brought me back and the unagi fried rice was great
