I finally had the opportunity to visit this restaurant after hearing so much about it for a long time. I really enjoyed the demonstration and the food. I ordered the sushi and chose shrimp and salmon, and it was delicious. My only complaint is that the tables were too close together. I was with a party of two and they sat us at a table that was completely filled instead of leaving some space in between. Despite this, I would definitely go back. I highly recommend this place, but next time I will go with a larger party to ensure we get a table to ourselves.
I absolutely love Kanki's! My family and I had a great time last Saturday celebrating our oldest son's birthday. Our chef, Chau, was fantastic and the food was delicious. He was so happy that we chose to dine there. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded; we only had to wait about 20 minutes, which was not bad at all. The location is very convenient, as we were able to go shopping after leaving.
The menu had offerings for most dietary needs. I got the salmon hibachi, and it was cooked to perfection. This restaurant reminds me of Shoguns from the Midwest area. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. In addition the restaurant was clean! You've got to try it! Yes, you sit with others, but that's ok. Don't be antisocial, or you'll miss an exciting experience.
Have been a go to for years! Food is always good. The cooks that prepare the meal in front of you are always funny and entertaining. Note, there's usually a wait for that but if you don't want to wait, you can seat yourself at the bar and area around it. (Much faster) In image: Steak Kanki

As always, Kanki was excellent! It was the perfect choice for celebrating Mom's 71st birthday. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
The staff was extremely attentive and the chef listened to special requests and remembered everything perfectly. Will definitely return.
