Kantu is a must try if you want to embrace the flavors of Peru. The sauté calamari with Huancaina sauce is a mildly spicy bits of heaven. Bravo to the chef for the wonderful grilled swordfish paired with quinoa and the HOLY guacamole, Amen.Regretfully, my need to devour the Churrasco de Pollo and Leche de Tigre, I was unable to photograph. I've been here 3 times. I feel like their food is a hit or miss. The 1st time they were now opening and food was super salty, I had the garlic shrimp. Second time I went off lunch amd had a sort of stew chicken only offered lunch time on the lunch menu, the 3rd time I had the 1/2 grilled chicken, I didn't even eat much of it, it was under cooked pink inside and too salty. Drinks are ok. Could be a little stronger. The fried rice is good, and the chocoflan was delicious, not too sweet. Decor is nice and the staff was nice.
I’m still looking for a Peruvian Restaurant but this place is good. The flavor is good and I ordered; Lomo saltado (beef Chaufa chicken. Caldo de gallina, it’s not real, it’s regular soup. Tres leches “delicious” churros (so good “Fresh” chicha morada (love it I suspect the chef is not Peruvian, but he is trying his best to match the style. Thank you I’ll be back soon
Second time trying Peruvian food, it wasn't as impressive as my very first one, which was a few years back at another restaurant but this time was good enough. Went on a Sunday night, the restaurant reached its full capacity, but the service was still good, waitress was patient and kind to give us recommendations, the food was good. Would recommend.

Enjoyed the food, the flavors were great and good portion size. Prices are on the high side. Service is a bit slow but workers are friendly. It is loud in there and tables are very close together. I would go back to try other menu items tho.Oh, bring cash because there is a surcharge for using credit card which is rediculous.
Excellent food authentic Peruvian food I have try several restaurants and this one is the best I recommended to everyone who yearns food from our country and those who want to try it
Really enjoyed my dinner here the other day. Flavors and textures were on point. They have specials for the weekend that we’re tasty AF. Worth a nice intimate dinner.

The lomo saltado empanadas are absolutely fantastic! We always love ordering from Kantu.
Their food is amazing hands down. Been here twice in the last week alone lol.
