Kapetan Restaurant & Salle de Reception

Went to the Kapetan for breakfast with family and were greeted at the door and accompanied to our booth (tables are available). Our server Monique was there very quickly with the coffee and we chose our meals then. We had the Kapetan special which included orange juice, coffee, toast/jam, two eggs, potatoes, bacon, beans, sausage, ham, and fruits. The food arrived faster than we expected with all the customers there. Our server checked on us frequently to see if we required anything else.The restaurant is a favorite of many older people but had many younger customers (including children) also. My wife and I just had our wedding reception at the Kapetan. Dasha who was the person in charge of the reception hall was nothing but accommodating. She also helped us out with the decorating of the hall, by lending us some of their colored table cloths, the food was absolutely delicious. I am normally not a fan of Chicken breast, but it was well cooked (moist) and the sauce that it came with was awesome. I would definitely refer this place to my friends that are looking for a smaller venue.

There is a disclaimer hidden at the back of the menu that ALL dishes served after 11am will incur an additional $1 surcharge! I have never seen this in any restaurant and thought it was an extremely rude way to get money out of people, therefore I will never go back there and make sure ro recommend my friends avoid it. The service however was nice.

We were waiting at the door for more than 10 minutes, the 2 waiters there never say hi, never speak a word to us, they let us waiting at the door, they werent even busy, just like 4 tables busy, we waited until we couldnt Lore so we left. They kept crossing between us and never said a word, like if we were ghosts.. terrible!!

Staying in Saint-Lambert for the Formula 1 race so went here for dinner.The service was cheerful and friendly. The food was good and there is something for everyone on the menu. The prices were very reasonable and it was a comfortable and relaxed environment.We enjoyed our evening.

What more can you ask for? Prompt friendly service and delicious food! The portions were good size-- we took home a "left-over" box! Restaurant was populated bt families with children as well as seniors and mid-age people! Pizza is available... but not the main-fare.

I love their vegetarian pizza with lots of vegetables. It is uncommon for places like this to offer such attractive options for vegetarian eaters. And whenever I want to eat French fries, this is the place I go.

Food is good, not high end . Service is outstanding for this mid range restaurant. Decor is really nice. OK for families, but also children and couples. Open all the time. Prices very reasonable

regardless of when you are there, time of day the food is always delicious ... breakfast lunch or supper.. have been there many times, solo with family and for parties and receptions..

family restaurant in existence feels like forever, food is ok and menue is ok, would I suggest to friends, probably.
