This is a cafe style restaurant plus take away shop which is run by a family, originally from Hazara in Afghanistan, who settled in Pakistan. Their samosas which sell for AUD1 are the cheapest in town. Their kebab rolls, sufficient for a take away meal,...sell for AUD5.00. The full fried snapper which comes with chapati, rice and dahl is a bargain at AUD12 and tastes good. There are other meals that are cooked after order which are good. But the biryani does not fall into that category. It is obvious that the rice and the meat are cooked separately and beforehand and are mixed at the time of order. This restaurant used to be a favorite spot for us to enjoy samosas, rolls, full snapper fry, eggplant curry, vegetable dishes, Dahl, Kata Kat, and other delicious dishes. The attentive server Iftekhar always provided top-notch service, and everything was offered at affordable prices. However, since changing ownership, both the food and service quality have noticeably declined.

We ordered some curry and naan today when we came home they gave us the wrong curry we went again to change it and they gave a two piece of beef with curry the texture is so watery. Very disgusting. We order the food around...9 and until 10 o’clock we couldn’t eat because of the careless service. Very disappointed.

This is one DHABHA that has great authencity of Pakistani food taste. A must visit if in the area, its a very small place, if you are conscious of sitting etc. worth having a take away, but it will be worth while for sure. We...usually go there and eat there, all fresh.

Can't complain about the food here. It's cheap and the food is pretty good compared to a lot of other places that pretend to be restaurants. Lamb shank was good so was the biryani.
