Ms and I arrived for lunch today. We were two out of a total of 6 people on Tuesday. We used to own a deli and were at the Biz food service, so we have an idea what we see when we visit various restaurants. No good food. The place must seriously clean or replace the kitchen exhaust system. We both smelled like fries. Stray dogs followed us home. Stop. Very strong grease inside. Not good. I had the bossburger who was over boiled, dry and much smaller than Louie Karem. It came with a tiny chip pocket. $13.95. The wife had a chicken slaughter. She said it was okay. We both had iced tea. Wow! This week? Karem? Saturday special was good from the charts. Half rack of smoked St. Louis style ribs glazed in honey bbq sauce with green beans, baked beans and a loaded potato for just $19.95. And the pomegranate martinis were thrown on the cake. Great food great value!
You've gotta meet Louie. This restaurant was started by a fantastic Louisville family that cares about the community. Simple and delicious, this place is a go-to if you are out in the commons area!
Had the privilege today to eating at this gem! Service was as excellent as the food! This will now be a staple in my go to places in Louisville! The other thing I regret is not going there sooner.

Good place for lunch. Friendly pub service with basics BBQ offers and TV etc. Beer selection is flat for a pub, not caught. Much more depth of wine selection.
Generous pours, great burgers, salads and wraps. Don't forget to try their sliders and sides on Mondays. Best bargain around!
I love this place! The food atmosphere make you feel you're at home. I never miss the Christmas Eve brunch.
