Karen's Cafe

After spending a while trying to decide from the many great choices available, I had the double chicken burger that came with chips and onion rings. Assuming there would only be a few chips (as most places only do a few), I ordered a side too. I was pleasantly surprised that the chips that came with the meal were a good portion and I didn't really need the extra chips. But I ate them anyway because they were so good! As was the burger and the onion rings. Very well priced too and a friendly atmosphere. It was nice and quiet, and was a relaxing place to eat. Also, they let you use the bottle of ketchup which is great (a big criticism I have of other places is you go somewhere as a couple and you ask for ketchup, and they give you a teeny tiny amount in a small dip bowl to share or they give you two sachets.. Not that I'm excessive about ketchup, I just like more than four of five chips worth). I highly recommend this place.

If you fancy chips then you're in for a treat. The menu has not one single salad option very disappointing. On the plus side it's clean and tidy, but despite the big posters it's dark and dated. The food however was terrible, my jacket potato was minging. I suspect the owner caters for the older generation locally.

All had a cooked breakfast with the family at Karen’s Cafe. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We always come here if we’re in Paignton.

Excellent food and service. Very tasty and hot freshly cooked homemade quality meals. A wonderful independent cafe serving excellent quality meals! Loved it

Staff were lovely foid was piping hot tasty and lovely presented very fairly priced and the place was very clean
