King Karlos The Spanish King of Cuisine is running this place, a combined hotel and a restaurant best ever located in Zarautz. He may have retired but a number of his family runs the place with absolute elegance and finess. We were lucky to join him in place for breakfast. Still in shame, for me, my wife taking this ever selfies. But the King Karlos did not mind. He even signed his cook book. Happyness! (Yes the fivecoursedinner was mouthwatering... (Yes the wines were superb... Questions out there? Go there!

Me and my partner came here to eat because we spent semana santa in pais vasco and we just had to come. The food was amazing and what we loved was that the servers who served us both spoke in our mother tongues.. andrea spoke catalan and jovanna spoke tagalog. We were not expecting to receive this kind of treatment and it made the experience more memorable. The food was superb and the service was excellent! We hope to be back in the near future!

Excellent service, very diligent but not intrusive. The meals we chose were not less than superb. Do not expect high fancy cuisine with starving rations. Most of the options are apparently simple but delicious. Not pricy at all considering what, how, and where you eat. Will come back for sure. Very satisfying to be attended in basque by all the service, and I have to mention the green peppers with ham. Yummiiii

The tasting menu (4 dishes and 1 dessert) was excellent and very reasonable for the price. For kids, the pasta with foie, Idiazabai cheese, and bacon was very tasty and the chocolate cake was fantastic. The staff was very friendly, gave good advice and made us feel very welcome. Well done to KA!

S on previous occasions, perfect for tapas on the terrace overlooking the sea. We had to wait, but it was worth the while. They do tapas, pinchos, raciones to take.
