In 1804 this listed house was built directly in the old town and since then in family ownership. With great attention to detail, the house and the outbuilding were preserved historically and the new requirements were met with modern elements. The special at the Hotel Karpfen is the sgraffito painting a scratching technique on multicolored plaster pads. The front of the hotel shows the history of Eberbach in 14 pictures.
