Wanted to give this five stars, but apparently that’s not possible because the restaurant also serves non-vegetarian dishes. Anyways, the food I had was definitely worth five stars! I started with sweet potatoes with a creamy dip made of silk tofu and other yummy flavourful things. After I had an amazing mushroom rösti from the summer menu, again with a lovely dip. My friend and I shared our desserts: warm brownie with sour cherry sorbet and a coconut based crème brûlée. My non-vegan friend loved them and said they tasted just as good. We had a lovely evening in this restaurant, sitting outside in their Kartoffelgarten There are several vegan options, mostly potato-based. I had the sweet potato with veggies and a silken tofu and lemon dip. I enjoyed my meal a lot, although I must say that it was not very filling and for the price I had expected a larger portion and more sweet potato. My husband had the roast potatoes with nuts and the same dip, and he liked it a lot, although the meal was a bit small, too. Our highlight was the vegan crème brûlée that we had for dessert. The staff were very friendly, and as I said above, the outdoor seating is very pleasant.
the atmosphere is like the German traditional cuisine, so normally they wouldn't expect vegan dishes. Instead, they have a great variety and even delicious vegan desserts. from the online menu you can see better if it is vegan or not, but they can also ask of course.
there was an extra vegan card with great and creative selection, however the portions were very small, satt did not really make it. but then gave a suggestion at demand, which really really excited us the service was super nice and the atmosphere super
