We tried the only vegan option on the menu mentioned in previous reviews. It had potatoes, lots of cheese sauce, spinach, mushrooms and apparently garlic too but couldn't taste it. The food had simple and bland flavors but was good and fulfilling. Priced at €13.90 (doesn't get the extra broccoli recommended here). You can ask for the menu card, which shows any special diets and allergies (at least what's on the menu is vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free). The staff speaks English and they made sure we wanted the dish vegan and not vegetarian. Over all a good experience if you want to enjoy warming, greasy, German food.
We went to the restaurant and ordered the vegan dish with brokkoli as was recommended on here but what no one else mentioned this costs an extra 3€!!! For 6 pieces of brokkoli??? Absolutely exorbitant in my eyes. The dish tasted okay but was lacking a lot of flavor. Portion size was very big. Still not worth the price of 16€ with the brokkoli. Also, even tho it’s a potato restaurant, it feels like 90% of their dishes are centered around Schnitzel or other meat. Overall, I must say I was a little disappointed.
Restaurant where you will find what you are looking for in classic German dishes. The quantities served are always too large but that seems to be German normality... The service was really very friendly and attentive.
Looking for a restaurant that offers delicious food for my family as well as for me, I came across the vegan potato skating that is highly recommended when you browse the menu.

Great value for the price. You can be sure you will have a great meal whatever you order!! The staff are friendly and speak English. Must visit for anyone going to Trier.
We were here for the first time today and felt very comfortable. The service was great and the food selection was great. We would be happy to come back again!
