Only just got around to writing this such was the disgusting non cooperative way this poo fest of a company dealt with my complaint. In short they didn’t. No reply no response nothing. Ordered 5 mixed meals with various starters breads and rices. Starters were just ok. Main meals were a shambles. Watery. Oily. Cold no flavour lamb chicken vegetarian mixed mains dishes varieties thereof like they had been thrown together. Bill was in the region of £94 Chappatis were cold and broke in 2 they were so hard. My boyfriend and I have visited Kashmiri numerous times over the past 12 months and it has quickly become one of our favourite places to visit together. The food has always been delicious. However, more importantly the service has always been absolutely superb! I would like to personally mention Naeem who is always delightful every-time we have visited! Not only has he provided extremely useful pointers and suggestions, he has gone above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable evening whilst visiting the restaurant. My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time last night. There were quite a few people there for a Sunday evening, creating a nice atmosphere. We decided to go for the buffet option. Although there weren't a ton of choices and some of the food could have been hotter, most of it was quite good. I particularly enjoyed the fish masala and the two chicken curries I tried, the handi and the masala. Some guests had to ask for plates or for dishes to be refilled, but this was done promptly. The food at this restaurant is delicious, but we were surprised when we received the bill and found that we had been significantly overcharged. When we questioned the discrepancies, we were informed that the prices listed on the menu were outdated and that new menus had not yet been printed. Additionally, we noticed that we were also overcharged for the wine we ordered. This practice seems questionable and possibly illegal. Despite our frustration, we opted not to cause a scene and simply paid the bill. After reading similar complaints in other reviews, we have decided not to return to this restaurant in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed yet another great curry from Kashmiri Aroma, Ilkley last night. As always our curries had real depth and strength of flavour and were delicious. Whilst other curry houses may seem to offer larger portions its definitely quality over quantity at Kashmiri which is why we keep going back there plus the staff are great. We so look forward to when we can go back to the restaurant but in the meantime will continue to enjoy their take away service.
Live in Ilkley and to be honest we have been using Westbourne Spice in Otley due to a previous average experience at Kashmiri. We thought we would give Kashmiri another go tonight but it was a mistake ! Expensive takeaway that added another £3 delivery charge. When the food was delivered it was stone cold restaurant prices for cold takeaway. Very disappointed !!!!
We went to the restaurant with the children and my parents for the buffet on Sunday. The food is excellent and we have been before but unfortunately we were overcharged by £38. Fortunately my husband realised and asked them to itemise the bill. He questioned it and they agreed to knock out over £38. This is about the third or fourth time this has happened.
We went for the buffet option which unfortunately was really disappointing. There wasn’t much variety, the dishes were bland and had to ask for them to bring out some more of what was empty. I’m not sure what the Al a carte would have been like so this review is for the buffet The people that work there were friendly just the food let’s them down.

The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and attentive. The buffet offered a delicious selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. The venue was excellent and child-friendly. I will definitely be returning again.
Just enjoyed an amazing curry. Please pass on our compliments to the chef as it was definitely one of the best we have had from Kashmiri and the flavours were incredible. So looking forward to the restaurant reopening
