my latest bike tour led me past the place and since it is such a wonderful outdoor location, I wanted to spend a break at my return. it was super weather, perfect sunshine and not too hot. we took the place under the tree. I like the shadow of a building much more than the beautiful and great umbrellas. the location has a beautiful playground for the children with beautiful picking area close to (always, they do not allow to bring their own food and drinks. it is self-service, everything is beautiful and clean. beautiful large beer garden from stuttgart in a beautiful environment, surrounded by obstbaum obstgartens and fields with cows and sheep. Unfortunately, the food options are very limited and of average quality. Barbecued dishes (like German black steaks or sausages) are missing completely. the menu, as well as typical beer garden favorites such as pork or fry pork. also the beer variety is disappointing. only bottled beer, nothing on hahn and only the very bad local stuttgart beer. that is very regrettable. if eating and beer would be better, this could be the best beer garden of stuttgart. what is left at the end is only the peaceful environment.
the choice of meal times is very small and traditional. I had a piece of meat with potato salad and a slip of brot. the environment is quiet a beautiful place in nature. espacially for families, because of the playground and the animals (long haired cows.) it is a mix of beer garden and a restaurant destination with self-service. even more if the weather is good.
the location is of course excellent, and the achievability in front of the dead stuttgarts located best, but what is offered here on food is rather brooding and the prices are demanding. if I have to pay 3,70 euro for a white beer without an operation (must be standing at the counter), then it's three times.

surrounded by forest, this beir garden is like paradies. we drove our bikes to get there over the numerous trails in the opposite, but they can get there with the car like.
the katzenbacher hof offers along some hiking trails a nice selection of snacks, desserts and drinks. it has a beautiful playground for children and festive for adults.
it is a shame that such a cooler place could have mediocre food. Let's start with the profis. there is an enormously cool playground for small parents.

this location is just something to drink....that eating is very spicy offered.A red sausage is basically a bockwurst.
they sell pretty good cheesecake with ice for the children.
