First time at this restaurant. What is shown in the picture is the tempura walleye. First let's discuss the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. You cannot be in a rush to eat or drink in this place, be prepared to wait for everything. The only thing our waitress brought out quickly was the water. Low lighting and socially responsible seating from other patrons. This is a popular place. The customer service wasn't bad, but it could've been better. I don't want to judge the customer service with a fine tooth comb because our waitress seemed overwhelmed with our group (approx. 14 people) and the number of tables she was assigned. We were so disappointed by the staffing issues at this restaurant that we weren't even able to get seated. After waiting for 10 minutes, we decided to leave. There were two of us, and although we didn't have reservations, we were standing near another couple who did have one, and they were just as frustrated. They arrived at the same time as us and were still waiting when we left. The hostess did at least acknowledge the couple with a reservation, but once we mentioned that we didn't have one, we never heard from anyone again.
Ordered online for pickup. Got there at prescribed time and it took another 25 minutes to get food. Food is Midwest Italian at best. Obviously they are understaffed and should under promise and over deliver. Don't think that's going to happen though. The food is great! The service if you can get it is embarrassing. Walked out on several different occasions. Why different occasions, because the food is worth it.

The food is fantastic and truly unique compared to other options by the lake. I highly recommend trying something from the specials menu—definitely a 10/10!
