Had a takeaway from Kay’s last night but very disappointed I can say I am very experienced at eating Indian food recon I have visited 70% of the restaurants in my area and lives in Sri Lanka But found this place a disappointment had four children dishes and all tasted the same just a different sauce some of the sauce had no taste at all as for the niramish it was 90% potatoes and the onion Bhajee the oil was running out of the bag I think a lot depends on the chief at these places and where they come from ie Indian ,Bangladesh or even Sri Lanka maybe I got the wrong one but will not return as locally we have some great Indian restaurants
It is such a shame as the food was delicious. Our friends are very regular customers. We had our starter in a timely manner but waited an hour and a half after that for out main course. The excuse, there was a big party in. People came in after us and got served before us. We feel priority was put on the delivery which seemed to go out at least every five minutes.. Sorry but we have been to zaiika in Epping which is much busier and the service is next to none . Don't forget your regulars as they are the real face of your business not the occasional work do bookings. You really let our friend down.
Really disappointed this evening. Normally have really wonderful food NFirstly my daughter ordered a king prawn dish. She has not eaten meat for years. This prawn dish on menu did not state it contained lamb mince. So it appeared to be perfectly fine for vegetarians and pescatarians. She took a mouthful. And was so sick and upset. This is certainly not good enough kaz. And a refund of 12 pound is certainly not good enough. Also the missing onion bhaji. Which we received half an hr after we had finished our meal. Did not go down well. This has caused so much upset .
Last night we visited Kaz's as a table of 10 people for a family members Birthday. The table was booked in advance for 18:30 and everyone apart from myself was on time and I was due to join them once I had finished work! The order was placed around 19:30 and unfortunately nobody ate until 21:00 it was an incredibly long wait with no apologies from staff, or much communication at all. Had a meal last night from here and the pillau rice was just a load of overcooked stodge which no self respecting chef would have sent out and it spoilt the whole meal, Have used before and apart from missing the odd side from order no problem but will try somewhere else next time.
