Ok this is a really traditional Texas BBQ joint. Place your order at the counter and then take it back when it's ready. It's got oodles of atmosphere, especially if you go on a night they have music. It is a more than a little loud though (if the owners are reading this spring for a sound board and someone who knows how to use it). Anyway, the pork and the ribs were awesome! Tender, flavorful and a joy to eat. The brand were too. I had some of my wife's marinated mushrooms and those were delicious too. I will go back next time I'm in Victoria. The music and food were fantastic at this restaurant. My 16oz pork steak was made to order and so tender that I could cut it with a plastic knife. Typically, this restaurant has good food. However, this time I ordered the shrimp and sausage which was good, but the rice and shrimp drumstick meat were dry. They seemed to have been generous with the BBQ sauce though. It must have just been an off day for them.
