I am Brooklyn born and raised and have a hard time believing anything can be that great outside of NYC. My Long Island friends said that it was time to introduce me to their favorite restaurant so I could stop saying Long Island didn't have good food options. In my world of ratings, it has to be life changing or it's nothing to write home about. In other worlds, 5 or 1 star/s (I only review to highly recommend or warn folks about a place . My friends did the ordering and got a HUGE combo plate with all different types of meats--chicken, lamb, and beef in kebab and kofta form. Excellent food and service. The chicken tikka and beef kofta combination was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful. Our waiter was very attentive and she even checked back to ensure everything was to my liking. Highly recommended. For the same price as competitors like Choopan, which has been serving smaller portions lately, this restaurant offers significantly better value. I've now found my preferred Afghan dining spot in this area.
When you call to order directly with them, they want you to provide a credit card over the phone. You tell them you want to pay cash nope they don’t accept cash. They want you to come in and order the food and wait if you’re paying with cash. Stupidest business model ever you will lose customers. With security being a big concern no one wants to provide their credit card number over the phone. Service: 1

My parents and I ordered the lamb kofta, chicken kofta and the chicken tikka kebabs all with hefty servings of rice, of course and they were all incredibly delicious! They even provide a generous amount of white sauce to put on your food, which should always be taken as a good sign. We even tried the baklava, which was a great way to finish off our dinner. 10/10, highly recommend! Service: Dine in
