Kelseys Original Roadhouse Milton

A long time ago Kelseys was a force to be reckoned with. They had the best food around and a great atmosphere to have a drink in. Somewhere along their journey they lost their way and I stopped going as often as I used to. Today I had a client meeting and this location was the closest to their office so we decided to go. I didn 't go willingly to be honest. The last time I had been to a Kelsey 's location had been more than two years ago. And I remember being sick to my stomach after eating there. This had become the norm for me hence why I stopped going But today was different. Today I had a better experience I tried a build your own burger and figured how can they get this wrong? Well it's been a year since I was here last, wow time flies. This time I had the chicken ceasar and some of those famous wings. I found the chicken in the ceasar is cooked nice, but there is an odd sweet note in the coating/sauce that just doesn't go with the ceasar's more tart tones. Could be a prawn sweet chili sauce was on the grill before my chicken who knows. it's not off putting, but if sweet bothers you I would make sure the server knows when you order. Other than that it was good and a good size. Also the wings were great as usual. I had supper this evening at Kelsey's (401/Highway 25). There is a bar area. I sat in one of the dining areas. I didn't know what I felt like having so ordered some appetizers. I had Mmmmmmozzarella Bread, which was good. I also ordered wings ... half with Sweet Spicy Thai Chili sauce and half with Apple Butter Barbecue sauce. Both were good. I felt like having something sweet some order a Caramel Brownie Lava Cake. It was really good. Deserae was my server and she took excellent care of me. She was helpful and friendly.

Never like Kelsey's but came here for business based on someone else's preference. Years ago I remember the waitress at another location telling me the veggies were pre-made, wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown into a microwave before serving. This time I got a veg burger and it was the worst I've ever had, especially at $14. Tasted like cardboard. Guacamole was so little that you only knew it was there by the light green smear on the absorbed in the cardboard bun. Nope to Kelsey's. How are they even open still? Gross.

Amazing service from the get go, good drinks and great food. They have very tasty fries and you can tell that the food is fresh. I had a burger which was delicious and my bf had the grilled cheese which was always delicious! I would definitely return if in Canada again
