Went with my mom after she heard about the 60th anniversary celebration. Walked in, absolutely hot with a fan blowing. That's fine it's bbq, but I didn't hear/see the cashier when I walked in, which leads to the experience. I get my mom's order and am now ready to order. I look behind the counter and say how you doing, you ready for me? I didn't see anyone there at first. She then replies, I been said hi. Okay, my fault it's loud out here, how you doing? She was just rude from that point. 2nd woman walks in, same thing, and they were not honoring the meal deals promoted, she just came to support for their anniversary as well. The only problem I had because I pick up my own food is the service, the older lady there never gets my orders right, the first time I came there, her attitude and explaining the others was horrible. I ordered 1/2 of white she charged me for 2 and I wanted the 2 side, she told me only fries come with it, once we got it straight she had to give me back $30, it should have been a little more, but I told her to keep it. Then when I got home the Guy there had fried my Chicken so hard it hurt my stomach trying to eat it. I hope Mr Kenny or the Manager is reading these reviews. Today, I witnessed the worst customer service experience provided to my friend. My friend simply wanted Ribs Tips meal from this Kenny’s Rib. The meal was disgusting ?! It appeared to be leftovers from the day prior and cold! My friend called to express her disappointment regarding the meal only and was greeted by the worst customer service representative ever! The representative was rude, disrespectful, lack communication skills and empathy regarding my friend perception of the initial meal! Ordered sides, mac n cheese and the greens. Both were ok, not what I would consider good but I was bbq 'ing my own ribs and needed quick sides. Mac and cheese was too peppery and not cheesy enough, the greens were a bit on the tangy/sour side as well as too peppered. I picked up my order and will never return as the older woman at the counter was rude, had an attitude WELL before I walked in the door and treated me like I was going to steal someone else 's order due to past thefts of that kind. It's sad when you support black owned and get the worst customer service from someone who is your elder Kenny's owner really needs to get rid of this very unprofessional older lady she don't know how to speak to patrons and she's argumentative for no reason I can definitely see someone poppin her but I definitely will not patronize anymore if she's there I will go else where.
