We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Portland and decided to stop in one morning when we were very hungry. We ordered half of the pastry menu and were impressed with what we tried. The quiche was the best I've ever had, with a hearty portion size. As a bread baker with 10 years of experience working with laminated doughs, I appreciated the quality of the dough used in their pastries, particularly in the morning bun. The croissant was a bit overproofed for my taste, lacking the intense crisp exterior I typically look for, but I did enjoy the darker bake which brought out better flavor. Was pleasantly surprised! I really love anything laminated dough, and they had so many options! I loved their escargots, they were so different and delicious! I had the passionfruit one, and they have a raspberry one too. Their Almond Croissants were amazing as well. Will definitely be back

The pastries at this restaurant are amazing! We tried the Goat Leek and Ham, Thyme, Gruyere croissants and they were both delicious. We would definitely order them again. The coffee was also great, as well as their hazelnut shortbread cookies.

I wondered if I made a mistake with my order. I finally decided to try this restaurant since everyone has been raving about it. There was no line, which was a win! I paid $5 for a goat cheese appetizer and had a good laugh. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is fantastic for dining. As soon as you enter, you are welcomed by the delightful aroma of fresh bread and pastries. They offer a variety of delicious soups and sandwich specials for you to enjoy.

Loved it. Will certainly go back. Friendly customer service, easy area to walk in, many shops nearby. Ken's has very curious baked items such as the Oregon Berry Croissant. I will have to try that one next time.

For lunch, I had red lentil soup, salad with fresh strawberries and goat cheese, a rhubarb danish, and a British breakfast tea at this bakery, which is one of the best in the city.

Warm and cozy and oh so yummy! We love a good pastry day. I would only say, maybe get coffee somewhere else.
