Kenz Egyptian - Reserva de mesa

I ordered the Kenz Mediterranean Quesadilla with gyro, which came stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and cheese, all wrapped in a light and thin Mediterranean flatbread, similar to a tortilla. I had never tried pickles in a quesadilla before, but I have to say they added an interesting and tasty touch. The portion was just right for someone with a moderately big appetite, but even if you have a smaller appetite, it’s a great dish to save a couple of slices for later. It also came with a mystery sauce that was delicious when I dipped my quesadilla in it! For dessert, we shared a platter of walnut baklava with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Previously, I raved about this restaurant to my husband because, months ago, I had a bowl of lentils that was the best I’ve ever had. We decided to visit today, but unfortunately, we were really disappointed. The customer service was lacking, our orders were wrong, and the lentil soup didn't taste as good as I remembered. The rice seemed old, and the only things we truly enjoyed were the bread and hummus. I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning.

The food is incredible! It's bursting with flavor, and I never thought I liked tea, but the hot Egyptian mint tea was absolutely delightful. The owner was wonderful and very accommodating, helping us navigate the menu based on our preferences, whether we were vegan or wanted something spicy. This was my first visit, and I'm already considering coming back tomorrow to explore more of the menu!

The Egyptian food here is excellent. I tried the falafel sandwich, and it was both delicious and flavorful. The samosas were also quite tasty. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the Koshary!

What a beautiful place! The family that operates it is wonderful, and the koshari koshary was absolutely delicious and authentic. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!
