Kerrera Tea Garden Bunkhouse

Such a lovely little isolated spot. Great for lunch after visiting the castle. Service and food were great. I went on a warm sunny day so I got a cold drink but I imagine popping in for some tea and cakes would be just as comforting on a rainy day! Note: I had read they only accept cash so I went fully prepared, but they were accepting both card and cash as of July 2021.

karrera has not disappointed! the walk to this beautiful place is worth it. the owner couldn't be nicer. we had the bagel with brie and chili jam and of course we had to taste every cake! sat outside in the sun they enjoy the fantastic view. only around the corner is the castle

Beautiful tea room and cafe , exceptional views all round and the cakes and coffee were delicious , very friendly and courteous staff , a great experience.

Excellent rhubarb and custard cake. Brownie also delicious. Lovely service by our Argentinian waiter. Highly recommend a stop on the way to Gylen Castle.
