I rang earlier in the day and booked a table for two for dinner on a Friday night. The night got off to a bad start when there was no record of my booking, however the young woman at the reception desk quickly retrieved the situation with an apology and a replacement table.A nice trendy decor with an excellent menu and separate specials list.I ordered an entree of 6 oysters mornay, which I shared with my wife, which were very nice. For a main course I ordered the Rogan Josh Indian Curry and my wife ordered the salt and pepper squid with a salad. Both meals were a good size and were very nice.We had a couple of glasses of wine each, very reasonably priced. There was a nice ambience to the place...

The Cross Keys Hotel is a local pub that serves good meals at a reasonable price. My relatives, who live locally, eat there regularly. The food is pub-grub style, but it's good value and the serves are large. Keys Bistro suffers from some drawbacks associated with suburban pubs -- the poker machines can interrupt conversation and the "regulars" use language that would be considered profane to delicate ears. In the unlikely event that you want to order wine by the bottle, you may be disappointed. The Keys Bistro is a stone's throw from the Cross Keys Reserve. In all, the Keys Bistro offers a good value proposition and I've always left satisfied.

The quality of food at the Keys Bistro has varied over the years, but, at the moment, they are offering good quality suburban pub grub at reasonable prices. Don't expect gourmet cuisine, but what you will get are the classic pub basics cooked well. I've eaten a variety of dishes here recently in a range of circumstances, and I'm yet to be disappointed by any. Provided your expectations are realistic, you can look forward to a decent quality pub meal at the Keys. Don't expect much from the wine list, and the prices are a bit steep for my taste, but the beer is cold and they have a few varieties on tap.

The menu hasn't changed in a long time but the standard remains the same. There's something to suit every palate. Many pubs have become more adventurous and up market in their menu offerings but this venue plays it safe and basic. The salads are standard as are the chip and vegetable sides. The mains tend to be heavy and if you're health conscious there's not a lot to pick from. The staff are friendly and the kitchen seems to be well organized as meals arrived quickly. This bistro always seems busy so the locals keep coming back. They may be attracted by the meal voucher offer. Reserva una mesa ahora

My meal at The Keys Bistro in the Cross Keys Hotel in Strathmore was quite inexpensive (all meals are $15 for lunch) and the wine was drinkable, but nothing special. I was a bit distracted by the noise from the Pokie area and the TV coverage of things I could bet on. The big distraction was the local men at the bar, who were known to the staff by name, who swore constantly about all aspects of their life and their interactions with others. I did feel a bit uncomfortable.

I don't get out this way very often but it was not bad. My friend celebrated her 99th birthday here with her extended family and close friends and the venue was just right for this type of informal gathering. We ordered our own meal and the bruschetta and risotto I had was fine. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. BTW the fish and chips my friend enjoyed was a very large serve and could easily have fed two people.

Came here on account of $12 lunch special. $15 on arrival. Staff were a bit rude. Ordered a parmi, crumb was burnt and sauce tasted very store bought and watery. Chips served under parmy were soggy and undercooked. Chicken was nice. Won't be back. Table had not been wiped down. Not a friendly atmosphere and sports bar smelled pretty bad.

I hadn't visited cross keys in years and years I went here recently with a large group of friends and I was very impressed. I ordered the satay skewers which was wonderful. Staff are friendly and courteous and there is a lot to choose from on the menu . Won't wait as long next time to visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

A groups of gym friends, we always eat here when one of the ladies has a birthday. There is a small area separated off where we Book. We order meals from the bistro but they are happy for us to bring our own birthday cake. The Seniors menu has a good selection.
