When we first went in. Guy came up to us asking if it was takeaway or sit in? We told him Sit in. He said only one can go up to the counter as they were trying to avoid crowds up at counter. That seemed fair. I told him we didn't know what we wanted and needed to see menu. He just walked away. We went online to look at menu. Tables weren't clean. Missed 1 drink from our order, had no salt. We had our granddaughter with us and her ice cream was melting . It was spilling onto table. Went to counter and asked for something to clear it up. Not busy. Only 2 tables occupied. I waited 20 mins for my food AFTER I ordered it. The tables were filthy. Only 4 tables in the whole restaurant were clean. The others had food or other on them. When I left approx. 45 mins later) there were NO clean tables. No one had cleaned any tables since I went in. As I went to the bin to dispose of my cartons it was full. Used cartons were falling to the floor. I went to the only other bin in the place and it was the same. I won't rush back. The food was OK by the way!
On the drive through I ordered boneless banquet from here on Friday lunch time and returned to work with my take away. The Chicken strips were lovely however I went large and received small fries, had a side of beans but no fork/ spoon, ordered a tomato sauce dip but never received any, asked for salt never received any and no napkin. In summary great food let down by poor service.
Helpful staff, usual grub. Clean and served fast. Down graded from 4 to 2 star Disappointed on return visit. Walked in just before 10pm to be told cash only as the card service was down, proceeded to then to watch lots of cars use drive through with card payment. As usual, we ordered a family meal along with a bucket through the drive-thru. Our food was ready in just 6 minutes! We enjoyed some vibrant, freshly cooked chicken, along with chips and corn on the cob, and we had a large bottle of juice to go with it. It was perfect!
