I had a very frustrating takeout experience at this KFC location. I usually order online, but every time I visit KFC Sterling, there’s a major issue. They never have a record of my order and ask for my name repeatedly—five times in total. By the fifth time, I was practically shouting it. Then they disappear for a while, only to come back and ask what I ordered again. After repeating it six times, they finally locate my order. The food is decent, but the whole process felt unbearably frustrating. Since Bojangles opened nearby, I haven’t felt any urge to return to this aggravating fast food spot.
What a surprise! To begin with, the staff at KFC are outstanding—extremely friendly and efficient, truly excellent service. The prices are also reasonable. However, I’m completely confused about what happened to the original chicken recipe. The taste was awful! I really hope they bring back KFC’s classic recipe. The only positive was that the chicken was fresh and hot, but overall, it was very disappointing!
This is a recently updated KFC. The staff are generally attentive, although I sometimes find it difficult to hear the drive-thru speaker clearly. The food is typically quite greasy, which is expected for KFC. On the positive side, the restaurant and restrooms are usually very clean, and the kitchen is consistently well-kept.
The chicken was very disappointing, the mashed potatoes were sour, the biscuits were reheated and tough, and the fries seemed overcooked multiple times. Overall, the chicken lacked flavor.
