Great place to get African food! I haven't been there twice with my girlfriend, my sister, and my niece. We all enjoy it. So much so that we came all the way back from Lansing on the first Sunday because I remembered that they have a buffet that day. You don't get to serve yourself in this buffet, understandably so, but they are very accommodating and will give you just as much as you ask for. Their plantains are so good, so many selections of rice, fish, and other proteins. Genuine Senegalese and Nigerian food. Fufu on deck! They are pretty much always packed on that first Sunday and I see why!
My order was $40 ... I ordered Oxtail with rice and Egusi with future. Let me start by saying I travel the country and the Caribbean is one of my favorites. This time in my travel I stopped at this restaurant and it was the portion size . tho I didn't care for the tomatoe based stew the ox tail came in I soon found out there were only three pieces of meat.
The egosi and fufu were absolutely phenomenal! It was my first time trying these dishes, and I would 100% have them again and again. The lamb from the egosi was cooked perfectly and was so tender, and the fufu went with it perfectly!
Your getting that good African service which I’ll always appreciate and the delicious food with it the soup with fufu was Bomb!! My friend loved her jollof rice as well

Absolutely incredible food and juices. Went for the stewed curry lamb and couscous and it was mind blowing. This place definitely needs more love!!!
Fufu was hot, stew was flavorful, red snapper fried perfectly, cabbage was yummy and that Mac n chz was slapping DEFINITELY COMING BACK....
Has a great experience with KGs as a food truck at Detroit Fleet tonight. Amazing food great prices.
Giant portions and very very nice staff. Never had Egyptian food, it was delicious.
