Kibune - Reserva de mesa

Like other reviewers have said, doesn't look like much but the food is straight forward, clean, and good quality Japanese. Eat outside, only inside in winter due to the heat from the kitchen. As it's in the plaza kids can run around easily. Two people can eat more than enough for $60 incl tip. Fast service and we were asked if we were going to the movies around the corner, so they clearly cater to the movie crowd well. Noticed many of the other diners were regulars. BYO $1.50 per person

This was our second visit to this little gem. We were introduced by good friends who live in Melbourne. We were amazed that we had not found it ourselves. We have just taken local friends for their first visit, and have more converts from further up the ' food chain ' of MOSMAN .Dishes are authentically prepared. The eggplant is extraordinary as are the crumbed oysters and varied tempura dishes.It will be our Japanese first pick from now on. The value is way ahead of the competition.

Have been going to Kibune regularly for a number of years now, and it really is the best Japanese restaurant in Sydney. It doesn't look flashy, but the food is amazing. Try the dengaku nasu (eggplant) - this is my absolute favourite dish at any restaurant anywhere. Plenty of vegetarian options, which is not always the case at Japanese restaurants, so a big tick from me. The owners are also such lovely people, they always really look after us. Highly recommended!

This hidden spot in Cremorne plaza doesn't look like much but is a hidden gem. Their food is so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the tempura, gyoza, agadashi tofu and sashimi but honestly I've never had a bad thing there. There is a place next door that sometimes looks busier but this place is SO much better quality I can never understand why. Reserva una mesa ahora

Steve and karjio will make you feel at home and cook up a feast! Everything here is great, but the agedashi tofu and dengaku nasu are amazing. It's a lovely spot protected from the noise of military road in Cremorne plaza. Head to the Orpheum for s flick afterwards if you can.

Just dropped in unannounced fancying some Japanese. A little reminiscent of true Japanese style restaurants in Old Edo. Tiny hole in the wall style, food freshly cooked, traditional family style in terms of presentation and style. Handy location to the Orpheum.

Love this restaurant. The couple who run the restaurant are very friendly and the service is good. And the food is great. The lunch boxes are good value but my favourite is the seafood tempura, the batter is so light and the seafood is always tasty.

Tiny, cramped, smoky, things stacked up everywhere. Radio blaring. Grumpy waitress. Some good dishes eggplant was delicious. Beef udon was good. Price was fair. Japanese patrons was a good sign. But overall..life's too short Reserva una mesa ahora
