On Thursday at 10:30 a.m. for late breakfast. There's a line. Do not quench, line moves fast, food service is even faster. You order inside, get your drinks, then servers show you on an open table outside and bring the food. We had prepared the Crab Cake Bene $21.50, on an English muffin as you would expect) with a generous portion of potatoes on the side. We also had the Veggie Omelette Spinat, tomatoes, onion, mushroom with Cheddar cheese, $13.95) served with hash browns that are more like cut small potatoes. Both meals were delicious, the staff was friendly and efficient. While you are relatively close to the water, the outdoor seats are very close to the lively S. Kihei Road.
Great selection of breakfast and lunch items for the whole family. Suits different tastes- pancakes, benedicts, and Mexican and Hawaiian fare. Over easy eggs were gooey, runny, and delicious. Fresh and tasty. The Hawaiian dishes are stand outs. Juices and coffees available, too. Pleasantly surprised at the way they serve their patrons. Makes the wait for a very busy restaurant very efficient. Waited in line that had about 15 parties ahead of me for about 15-20 minutes. Then, you order at the counter, and they bring out the food to your table. Friendly, warm folks that serve you. Nice view of the beach if you sit outdoors. Be ready to dine among a few chickens and birdies :
Place was recommended by our daughter friends who live here, everything was incredible, pancakes were light fluffy, bacon had a unique taste that was the best. Wife has a waffle with fresh fruit cup and she loved it. Cappuccino was very good (and looked amazing) woman has cold beer she loved. If like a great breakfast early this place opens at 5 o'clock. Great views right opposite the outdoor beach. We'll come back a lot.
Kihei Caffe is a great place for breakfast or lunch. More from a local place away from the tourist Wailea region, but definitely worth the trip for well valued local food. I recommend her locally inspired beef hash, but you need to try her cinnamon roll with sweet cream cheese and do not forget the French toast with Macadamia nuts and bananas! Definitely recommend the Kihei Caffe and let the line fool you quickly!
