After enjoying the views of the Alhambra, Generalife, Alcazaba and San Nicolas church, we stopped here to relax a bit and have drinks and tapas. While the waitstaff weren’t overly responsive, it could have been due to being understaffed. However, the drinks and tapas we had were enjoyable and as we were sitting outside, you could see the church, mirador and Alhambra from afar.
This turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Granada! It's a very casual terrace cafe near the San Nicolas viewpoint. They specialize in an eggplant dish that is out of this world. We had a great late lunch and enjoyed the view and people watching. It looks really touristy but if you can get a table just go enjoy it's fun and delicious.
Read the reviews so didn't expect much, bur found ourselves attracted to the atmosphere. So glad we sat down as the local white wine was superb and we also had had a lamb dish with a local sauce which was recommended by the waiter and this was delicious, good service and very reasonable.
This is a lively and good outdoor restaurant located on top of the fabulous Albaycin area and next to the best plaza in Granada--Plaza San Nicholas. They have good food here and a great wine selection. The ambience is good and is a great place to watch people. I recommend
