All you can eat (AYCE) sushi restaurants are not known to have the greatest sushi, but this isn't the case at Kiku Sushi. We didn't order the AYCE, but the individual dishes we did order were great. Although a bit small, the donburi bowl with unagi and rice was flavorful and the Super California roll was delicious too. The salmon salad was also good, but I found it to be a bit on the oily side. After we ate, we were surprised when we were asked which type of ice cream we wanted. It seems dessert is included with the meal — and that scoop of matcha ice cream really hit the spot. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and the place was clean.
This cozy all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant offers premium items such as uni and wagyu for $46.99. However, some of the premium selections are not included in the AYCE option, so I believe the price increase mainly covers those extras. If you're primarily interested in the AYCE menu, I'd recommend opting for the regular choice at $36.99. While the sushi was good, I feel the prices are a bit steep for this area. On a positive note, they do offer complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal!
I went in for dinner and was disappointed to find that the fish was dry, and the rice was both dry and gummy. I was charged $40 and only managed to eat a few pieces of sushi because they insisted everything was fresh and offered no alternatives. They mentioned that they only cut the fish in the morning and don’t do any extra prep in the evening. Overall, it was gross and disappointing, and I can't believe no one else has raised similar concerns.
Food was fantastic and the service was great! We sat in the corner and they took our order after about 5 minutes or so, we all got all you can eat sushi, REALLY liked the playboy and the lemon mango salmon fresh roll, they were some of the best sushi i have ever had, also they give you a scoop of ice cream and were really personable, overall an awesome experience, will go again if im ever in the chino hills area!

We have been visiting this place for over 10 years. Since the new ownership took over, the all-you-can-eat beer option for $1 is no longer available. The food quality is great, but prices have increased by more than 30% since the pandemic. We would love to come more often, but unfortunately, it's just not affordable for us.
Such a great place to dine. The staff gave our party a warm welcome and a super fun birthday celebration. Excellent service with quality food! Thumbs up for KK Sushi in Chino Hills.
