The service here at Killian's is amazing and the woman who was the clerk was really cool at explaining what was available, what options/sides I might've wanted and etc,. The inside of the market is really clean and organized. So much so, that you can barely even smell meat. I got a brisket sandwich and mac and cheese, while I like for my brisket to have a little more fat rather than just lean meat, the sandwich was still pretty good, and the mac and cheese was similar to KFC's. I came in around 4:30pm so there was no one else in the shop, and I think this shop is all around cool. I would probably go earlier in the day to get the best quality of food. I had an incredibly disappointing barbecue experience at the Cypress location. Although there were long lines out the door, they clearly weren't equipped to handle the crowd. By 5:30 p.m. on a Friday, all the side dishes were gone. The beef I was served was so tough that I could barely cut it, and my husband faced the same issue. My daughter ordered takeout and spent $80, only to get disappointing meat as well. She has sworn never to return, and I feel the same way. Save your time and money—I'm really unsure what all the hype is about. They need to focus on cooking their meat longer to ensure it's tender. Just so you know, I've lived in Houston my entire life.
This place is off the hook!! Just love the food the potatoes are the best, sandwiches great.. Plus they have fully stocked meat cases so you can take home goodies for later. Just such nice people do drop in for a visit, you won't be disappointed....Parking: Nice size parking lot
The sliced beef sandwich was really tasty, and the sauce was outstanding! When it comes to being family-friendly, what BBQ restaurant isn't welcoming to kids? There was plenty of parking available as well.

Some of the best BBQ around. ? The brisket and the loaded BBQ potato are my go-to. Any time I am making the trip from Houston to Austin, I stop by. Highly recommended.
A buddy and I went in to each order 1/2 chicken. They halved the chicken and added a scoop of ice.
Incredible BBQ and the best smoked bacon I’ve ever had! They also serve some excellent coffee!
