Anyway We ordered drinks and awaited order I had to wave the guy with the mask worn incorrectly over his mouth and no nose to order the food . We ordered and I ordered my usual the curry chicken While we waited my daughter wanted crayons to colour in we ask and they brought pencils After asking for paper twice I left the table to ask could they kind my drinks to go get paper from a shop The guy with the mask around his mouth said it's ok I will ask to print something I explained even a piece of paper was ample , he minding returned with this as the dinner came . 7 of us called in for evening meal, 3 children and 4 adults. The children’s portions were a good size and the children finished them. I had a steak sandwich which was probably the tastiest steak sandwich I ever had in my life, it was very very tasty. The decor is tasty and homely. Service was quick and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s not overly pricey and is worth every penny. When I paid, I paid with the new plastic notes and unknown to me, two £20.00 notes were stuck together. I was on my way out and they came to me with over payment of the £20.00 note. (It’s not everywhere that would happen).
Visited this hotel for a meal on the first night of our stay in Newcastle...the service from all the staff was exceptional, very well mannered and we'll organised. Food portions were large, well presented and full of flavour....excellent value for money also. As our first visit was so good we decided to return the next evening and we were not disappointed, it was first class. All staff from reception staff to dining room and bar staff were all very professional indeed. I wish you all at kilmorey every blessing and success for the future.
Visited for dinner recently during a stay in the area. Staff very friendly. Food was good, in particular the roast of the day. It's been a long time since I have seen such a fabulous selection of veg offered alongside any meal. My son's pizza was delayed, due to a hiccup with the service, but it was beautiful with lots of toppings when it did finally arrive. The staff did apologise for this oversight. We enjoyed our visit and food prepared.

Myself and some friends were in the restaurant to day for a lovely lunch I had the special -great value for money My friends had scampi and stirfrys and it was all delicious We were served by a lovely girl who was most attentive and helpful There was a lovely atmosphere around and it just felt like old times Would recommend this hotel and restaurant if you are visiting Kilkeel or just a local popping in for a bite to eat
I had an amazing experience at the Kilmorey Arms Hotel Restaurant. Brenda provided excellent service and I thoroughly enjoyed the fish, steak, and roast dinner. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and a friendly ambiance. I highly recommend Kilmorey Arms for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you to Brenda and the staff at Kilmorey Arms - I will definitely be returning!
I had another excellent dining experience at the Kilmorey Arms, which always manages to impress. The Pulled beef taco starter was delicious, and the baby back ribs and hot wings that followed were just perfect. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff were efficient, professional, and courteous, and our food arrived promptly.
Good choice of food available in the bar area. Fish especially good. The waitresses were very pleasant and welcoming. A pleasant change from some eating establishments these days. Rooms toilets were recently refurbished and clean. The place to go if you're in Kilkeel.

The restaurant is in a fantastic location and serves delicious pub fare. The room is really nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just make sure to avoid staying when there's a wedding disco downstairs, as it can be quite loud.
My husband and I ate in the newly refurbished restaurant last night and I must say the food was absolutely beautiful! We had starters and mains and they were all delish….can’t wait to our next night here
