Not sure if you write Baskian for food from this region but it was really good, simple and well prepared. The cook is the owner of the hotel next to the restaurant. Price is good for what you get. Ambiance can be a little bit more cheerful.

We had dinner at this restaurant several nights. All of the food we got was very delicious and tasty. We got a lot of stories about the food and the area from the friendly staff.

We have enjoyed a bottle of good local red wine from Alava, the biscuits, the soup and steak. Our desserts: Homemade rice pudding and sheep milk pudding.

The chuleton, T-bone steak in the area, is superb. You must go there to enjoy it. Biscay Sea Hake is excellent too. I highly recomend going there

Fantastic restaurant. Great steak and incredibly fresh ingredients many from the owners garden. Very affordable and charming owners.
