Just been to kilted kebabs in Greenock , I have been many times and order the same kebab donner with sauce separate I do this as I think that if the sauce is added buy the time I'm home the pitta bread is soggy , however this is the first time I have ever been served buy the owner and was told it is not possible to have you're sauce separate or there will be an extra charge , this is because the tiny containers that the sauce come in cost money a lot of money according to the owner !! Never heard anything so ridiculous , he then tells me he won't charge extra !! But the amount of meat I received was half of a normal portion ! The service was very fast, the staff were extremely polite, and the entire restaurant was very clean. The decor was modern and inviting. They offer options to dine in, take away, or have delivery. We opted to pick up our order. The chicken pakora was delicious, and the pepperoni pizza was very tasty. The sauces were excellent, and the salad was unlike anything I have ever tried at another Indian takeaway. The cabbage was marinated in some kind of mustard oil and vinegar, which was surprisingly tasty.
As a British ex-pat living in the USA, I have missed Donner Kebabs, since I have yet to find somewhere that makes them UK style, after 23 years in the USA. I had the Donner, with a little sauce, and was expected and remembered. Kebab was big and filled with more than enough meet. Sauce was good and not too hot. Also had the Chicken Pakoras which were also very good, but the Donner took priority and I had little room for everything. I will return here and recommend.
My friends and I used Kilted Kebab's frequently when it first opened, but recently a friend and I had a negative experience. They delivered the wrong food and after she called to rectify the mistake, they promised to send the correct food but never followed through. As a result, I will not be using their services again.

Visited here one evening in February, my first visit and it won,t be my last. The lamb shish kebab was cooked to perfection, very fresh with lovely salad and sauce. Staff are extremely friendly and for a fast food carry out I would rate it as one of the best in the town
This place is fantastic hoggies are 10/10 service is very good only let down is chicken pakora is dry and hard and the veg pakora is not cooked enough is soggy only let down from this place if you go here please try there hoggies there yummy
Had a take away 9 spicy chicken pizza it was really nice. There is a good variety of food on the menu they do lots of deals on certain days times. I would recommend will probably eat in here again if i'm ever around.
The restaurant provided fast service, serving piping hot kebabs and fresh salads even at midnight. The food was not soggy, unlike some other places, and the portion size was generous. The prices were fair.

Food is, at best, average..........customer service poor. See another reviewer talks of horrid management ....I see what they mean. Could be better and in good location but pretty poor and disappointing.
Great food, decent portion sizes and always tasty.Presentation of the food is very nice and a very good variety to choose from.
