"Went with friends on Tuesday and had a lovely meal. The service was friendly without being intrusive and at the right pace. The food was fresh and very tasty. A nice touch, because we were British, they offered us more spicy dips than the French like. Not mouth burning but definately 'hotter'. We will certainly be going back for another meal."

This restaurant had been recommended to us by friends who had visited for an evening meal in May. We had been to the market and were wandering back to our car when we passed the restaurant and decided on the spur of the moment to have lunch. The decoration is nicely done and as previously mentioned the toilet is interesting with a wall mounted water feature. The menu de jour was very interesting and we decided to have different starters and main courses so we could share. The food was very good, presentation was excellent and we enjoyed chatting to the owner, whose Korean wife if the chef. The only down side, as previously mentioned is that the wine list is restricted to bottles of the local château, although these are very good wines. A very enjoyable lunch and we shall return.

It takes a lot of courage to open a Korean restaurant in a small city in the Languedoc. And one year on they are still going strong. This is a classic story of a Lezignan 20 year old who wanted to see the world and left. Many years later (at least 30 I would say) he has come back with a Korean wife (the chef) and decided to start the only serious non french restaurant in town.Very pleasant and very good food. Slightly on the pricy side but then again, your probability of having a real Korean Barbeque in the Languedoc are close to zero so you have to have a risk premium. As for the slowness mentioned in other reviews, what's your hurry?I hope it stays for many years. It is a welcome change to the limited culinary offer in Lézignan.

This is a great wee restaurant! The owner was very friendly as soon as we entered and happy to explain the contents of the menu. We took the 23 euro menu and were delighted with the tempura battered gambas and vegetable starter, the pork gallettes starters, the calamares main course and the beef sauté main course. The banana caramelle desert was great. Each course was freshly made by the owner's wife, who is Korean. Don't expect to arrive and leave quickly. Take your time and enjoy the ambiance. We will go back to this restaurant as the food was so good! As said by others, be sure to visit the loo! It's surprisingly nice.

Wowza! Lézignan is becoming a gastronomic paradise (with a small p).....The owner is extraordinarily keen to welcome you and explain the menu which can be a little overbearing but once you have decided what to eat - the food is delicious (cooked by his Korean wife) and is sometimes even too spicy for British tastes! The décor would not be out of place in a city centre and we are very lucky to have the chance to eat Korean food in la France profonde.......
