Kimi's Chop Oyster House

This was our first visit to Kimi’s Chop Oyster House. First impressions “Wow”! The vibe is upscale urban. You wouldn’t think something like this existed in SLC. The menu offered something for everyone and we ended up having starters for people. Its definitely a special occasion place with some of the price points, but if you know what to order there are some reasonable priced items too. Big servings for a upscale restaurant. Jeremy provided great service. The live music was also a nice touch on Friday. We look forward to our next visit.

Well…The band played VERY LOUDLY it sounded like the same song over over. We asked our waiter to request they turn down volume, but they didn’t. Along with all the voice noise, we could not talk. When I asked our waiter to describe the different fresh oysters..he said “You will have to look them up”!

The ambience was really nice there was live music place is very beautiful and trendy. It was kind of loud. The food was good it did take a while to get the entrées however. Other than that it was a really enjoyable pexperience

What a great surprise finding this place! Great food, service, and venue with a live jazz band on this particular Saturday night. Highly recommended. We shall return.
