Kimono Japanese Restaurant

When Kimono first opened, I went there for lunch with a coworker and couldn't find anything wrong - my meal was great, service was quick and prices were very affordable. I went back there solo another time for another meal and it was still pretty good; no complaints. A week ago I took a friend there for lunch and was not disappointed again. Although it was very busy at 1 pm for the bustling lunch crowd, we were served very quickly, immediately with menus

Arrived in Vancouver after long trip from UK and chanced upon this place whilst looking to get some lunch, it seemed quite quiet inside but decided to take a chance - really glad we did as the food and service were brilliant.Really couldn't have asked for anything better , really good selection of food and some great lunchtime specials.Will definitely go back when next in town.

We have had a seaweed salad, a sashimi appetizer, chicken and pork teriyaki (included a miso soup and a bowl of rice). Food was outstanding in taste, freshness and presentation. The service was very friendly. Prices were totally reasonable. Jasmine tea was great too, refills were offered all the time. We recommend this restaurant.

We had neer tried a Japanese restaurant before and were a bit apprehensive. However once inside we were served with Jasmine tea and offered advice on the menu. The Bento box was a great choice. 4 different kinds meant the 4 of us could share and try a variety of things.Great food at inexpensive prices. Well worth trying!

This restaurant is pretty shabby but it was the closest sushi place we could find. The server made a very rude comment about my sister ordering 3 rolls of sushi (which is too much in his opinion I suppose). So I would never try this place again because of that. However the sushi was good.

A good place for a quick and good business lunch. Service is quick although not personal and food arrives quickly. Don't judge place by its look - inside or outside. You come here for quick and good food. Good variety of Japanese on offer.

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years. It is one of the few Sushi places I enjoy eating at.a) the food has always been fresh b) the service has been good inspite of them being very busy.c) price is reasonable

Kimono is in the heart of downtown Vancouver, close to hotels and the Canada Place cruise terminal. Kimono has a full menu, so your sushi lovers, tempura fans, and donburi enthusiasts will all be satisfied.

The food was good and there was a good selection. The prices are very reasonable. Not the kind of place you go to fr the decor or atmosphere. I would go there again for lunch!

quality Japanese food, with fresh products. the place is always full and the service is ok, within possible.
