These guys certainly know how to run a fish chip shop which is much more than can be said about the other fish chip shops in the area. Great and kind staff customer service. The food is always fresh, the oil in the fryers is changed regularly hence why the chips are always golden and delicious. They also make a mean burger as well, a properOld school fish chip shop burger the way it should be. Keep up the great work guys.

I’m quite particular when it comes to my burgers, and I often end up getting items I didn’t order. However, I’ve been visiting King George since its opening, and he has NEVER made a mistake with my order. The fish and chips are perfectly cooked—not greasy at all—and they taste amazing. The potato cakes are unmatched by any other place. This is definitely my go-to spot for takeout!

great service, fresh fish, perfectly cooked chips. I'm not sure where or how they get their scallops, but the biggest scallops I've ever had. georges is the best fishing chip in the neighboring. Five stars, down the hill.
