King Hua has been my dim sum choice of restaurant for a long time. And there is a handful of reasons for that. For starters, there is a considerably large parking lot, shared among other businesses in the same plaza area. Even for the busiest rush hours, if you 're willing to walk a bit far, you 'll most likely find parking. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and I never once felt I was cramped due to the table and seating arrangement. I 've been here for both dim sum drink tea hours and for night market dinner service. I 've never left unsatisfied. Truth be told, I don 't think I was ever blown away completely, but never once would I grade it lower than a B+ or even A-. Of the many vi...

S/O to ZQ for this recommendation! This is the type of place you take the traditional mom/dad for dim sum, despite them not having the rolling carts. Came here with my dad and brother after dropping my mom off at LAX. Pro tip 1: come early!!! Especially if your party is 5 . Pro tip 2: street parking is the only way, unless you snagged a spot in the small parking lot. Pricing: $1.50/person for tea of choice (and it says sauces...but there is sauce on the table already S is $3.58, M is $4.58, L $5.58, SP is $6.58, and C is $8.88 We sat down within 1 minute of waiting, and were quickly given menus to mark off our orders for round 1, and round 2. We quickly ordered: 1. 1 order of Shrimp and pork...

I'm currently on a Dim Sum Phase where I'm looking particularly for good value. This means for the price and taste, it has to be a good value. King Hua was on the list, I came here on a Saturday late morning, surprisingly it wasn't that busy at all. The parking lot is nice and big, but it may seem a little complicated to get into. Upon entry, it's a very nicely decorated restaurant, the chairs are nicely draped in in cloth and it's surpassingly not loud. This Dim Sum place definitely feels more upscale. This place also lacks the traditional push carts and is replaced with a menu based, this is good and bad. It's good because you know your food comes straight from the kitchen so it's fresh, a...

Food here is delicious. Not all dim sum places are created equal and they have some good dim sum comparable to what you can find in Hong Kong the capital of dim sum. Quite authentic Cantonese experience which is what I hope for at a dim sum place! I tried a bunch of their dumplings with assorted seafood and veggies. The skin was soft and not too thick yet the dumplings didn't fall apart when I picked them up with chopsticks. The shumai had a normal yellow color and tasted like good shumai. Their deep fried dim sum was delicious too, like the soy wrap roll 腐皮卷 and the seafood salad roll 沙律海鮮卷。 The other highlights were their dinner dishes. My friend ordered their soy sauce chicken, r...

This just might be my new favorite place for dim sum! Came here with my foodie friends who never steer me wrong and this place is no exception. Went on a Saturday morning at around 10:30 and there was plenty of parking. They were already seated when I got there, and it could be because it was early or maybe because there was rain in the forecast, but it was not packed at all! Got the staples: shrimp dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, and spare ribs, as well as deep fried egg tofu with spicy and sweet sauce, the King Hua baked chicken salad bun (probably my favorite bun ever and the baked low fat milk bun. Also got the fried squid (not on the dim sum menu , which was well worth it! We got...

Traditional dim sum with a few creative options to choose from! Highlights sui mai, spare ribs, sticky rice in lotus leafs, and thousand year egg pork congee (one of the best I 've had in years and as close to the Hong Kong style as I had back in grade school). Did enjoy the fact that we didn 't have to hunt down carts for the goods. I would skip their more creative options tho fried lotus was I need to spit it out now bad. Their house special egg tart was just meh. Overall solid dim sum option in the area.

Came here at noon on a Saturday morning and waited about 15 mins for a table. They give you a menu sheet and you would mark off what you want on the first round and second round. We ordered egg tarts, beef rolls, steamed shrimps dumplings and a few others standard dim sum items. Everything was very tasty and they came out hot. Tea is $1.40 per person and kids too. Service: I would say it is just like any other Chinese restaurants in the area: none Parking: plenty in the back

A busy dim sum restaurant. I like just about everything here from the standard delicious shrimp dumplings, congee, and siu mai to innovative items such as fried seaweed rolls. Soup dumplings are great too, a departure from those of DTF. I also had interesting dessert encounter here. I like my yellow steamed buns with yolk and a fried mochi version. Both are yummy. Consider a highly rated dim sum on the east side. Nice performance and friendly staff. Bravo!

Great dim sum restaurant. There's always a line. Order everything on paper (you can go a few rounds) and watch all your plates come to your table really fast. Good quality and service was quick on taking finished plates away and quick to refill your tea pot with hot water.
